The Danish musician Gustav Berntsen, known professionally as GB, has signed with AD 93 to release his new album, Herzsprung, on August 21. This album is a unique creation, as Berntsen crafted its lyrics from copies of Metro, a London daily newspaper. To fund his studio time, he utilized the earnings from his appearance in Jaguar's 2024 ad campaign. The lead single, "Adrenaline," is now available for streaming. This marks a significant shift from his previous album, Gusse Music, which was released on the now-defunct label Posh Isolation in 2024. Berntsen's upcoming tour will take him across Europe and the United Kingdom in the fall, with a diverse range of venues, from the Roskilde Festival in Denmark to the Glad Cafe in Glasgow, Scotland. The album's tracklist includes collaborations with Alba Akvama on the song "Pipe Dream" and features a mix of atmospheric and introspective songs like "If Only You're Still Around" and "Starsound."
